About Us
The Finn-Brit Players is a Helsinki-based amateur drama society whose origins date back to the early 1950s. Since becoming active again in 1981, we have staged over thirty productions. The choice of plays has included musicals, murder mysteries, classics, comedies, Shakespeare, children’s entertainment, and drama.
This site contains an active log and history of our shows and other events such as Poetry & Jazz from 2007 onwards, as well as some archived material. For a whiff of history, we have archived our previous website as well as an even older one; feel free to explore!
For a modest annual membership fee (12 Euros), anyone can join, and the group is open to all ages. More on membership and how to join here.
The Finn-Brit Players is a member organisation of the Amateur Theatre Association of Finland (SHT). More information (in Finnish) at www.shtl.fi.
